Presents
Today we set up the tree. I am so excited-- this is the first year we have had a full size tree. Yes we have been married for 8 years. (My mom actually bought a live real size tree the year my daughter was born, but that was more of my mom's tree not mine since she bought it). But I am off topic I brought some presents down to put under it and my daughter excitedly told her brother and dad there are no presents for me because I made all these! Repeatedly she told them that she wrapped them in her 4 year old language. It was so sweet I thought that she didn't care there wasn't any for her yet because she wrapped them.

Pancakes
Dad decided it was high time the six and three quarters year old learned how to make pancakes. Tonight was his second time.
Reading and tv time
I thought when this baby came I would have lots of time for reading and watching tv. Not the case-- I am amazingly disappointed.

Redheads
Perfect outfit for my red headed baby. (Because the lions mane is the same color as his). All three of my kids have different color hair, what are the odds.

This holiday
This thanksgiving holiday I wanted to teach my children about gratitude so I have started a gratitude jar. Every night at dinner everyone has to tell me what they are thankful for and I write it down on a paper leaf and we put it in our jar. Even though we are almost a week into the month we have only done it once. I told everyone they couldn't repeat what someone else said so Brent quickly said pandas, because our 6 year old is lately obsessed with pandas.

Fall
Little girls are pretty wonderful.
She made this pile of leaves herself, in her brother's shoes, while wearing fairy wings, with a snow shovel.
When you are three you can do anything with a snow shovel.
It was all fun and games until someone put his shoes in the bag of leaves. After school, he has to go through the bags one leaf at a time until he finds them. He thought it was funny, lets see if he thinks its funny after he finds them.
